Tim Tillman - President/Senior PM

Tim is our fearless leader here at NK Builders, Inc. He began his journey locally by attaining a Construction Management degree at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. In addition, he has over 35 years of experience in General Contracting and Construction Management with both commercial and residential markets. Tim’s hands-on knowledge and wide range involvement in this field guarantees an elevated project and personable accommodations. 

In his free time, Tim enjoys traversing the trails of SLO to see how many ways there are to break a mountain bike (and, consequently, his body).

Chris Andrews - Superintendent

Chris is among NK Builder’s most admired, respected, and enthusiastic leaders. He has over 40 years of experience with advanced knowledge in construction phases ranging from residential, custom developments to commercial property and multi-family dwellings. We love to brag that Chris was appointed to head the framing effort for ABC Network’s Extreme Home Makeover in 2006. Chris’s charisma, hard work, and determination allow him to see a project through with precision, foresight, and proficiency. 

When not supervising a project, Chris can be found enjoying a glass of wine with his lovely wife of 44 years. He cherishes his three adult children and loves traveling, hiking, listening to good music (just as long as it’s not country or rap), golfing, and spending quality time with friends and family.

Victor Acevedo - Superintendent/PM

Victor has over 30 years of experience in all stages of custom home building, tenant improvement, and commercial construction. He has built custom homes all throughout SLO County and has a wide range of well-known commercial clients, such as Panda Express, Goodwill Industries, Envision Radiology, King Soopers, Discount Tire, UC Health, the U.S. Navy, and the U.S. Air Force, to name a few. Victor’s passion for seeing a project through from the ground up makes him an excellent enforcer of NK Builder’s mission to provide its customers with exceptional service. 

Victor likes to fish, hike, cook, and sip fine wine during his free time. 

Steve Johnson - Superintendent/Craftsmen

Steve (“Tiny,” as we call him) has an extensive commercial and residential site management background. He’s also an accomplished finish carpenter and cabinet builder whose 25 years of experience is highly prized.

“Tiny” got his nickname after spending most of his recreational time at the gym.

Roger Swann - Estimator

Roger has been our go-to guy for several years. His 45 years of estimating experience in commercial construction make him an invaluable member of our team.
